Yule Log Cake

A Yule log cake, or Bûche de Noël, is a traditional French Christmas dessert resembling a log, made from a chocolate sponge cake rolled with cream filling and covered in chocolate frosting or ganache to mimic bark, often decorated with festive elements like meringue mushrooms or powdered sugar "snow". It's a sweet, symbolic treat rooted in the old European custom of burning a large Yule log for good luck during winter festivals, but instead of burning it, you eat it.  ITK Low Sugar Signature.
